Well most salamanders are pretty easy to care for given the right enclosure.
A good one to get would be salamandra salamandra the fire salamander.
Mine eats a lot, is pretty active (swimming and walking), and they are quite clumsy at times.
I love them, so easy to care for and so hardy. Make great amphibian pets. Sounds like a good setup although I hate it when the coco fiber sticks to them, ruins there color.
Haha. Don't worry about it, I doubt anybody would actually know unless they buy the ants.
I have 2 desert horned lizards (Phrynosoma platyrhinos)
They are actually really good pets, people say they are extremely hard to keep yet they arnt actually very hard to keep.
never buy ants off of LLL, way over priced compared to other sellers.
I have horned lizards (a specices that only eats ants as well) and they are actually very easy to care for even though they eat tons of ants. If you look up "horned lizard food" in google, it will come up with a good site...
c-a-p-s caps caps caps.
going all the way.
although it is still weird for me to see them winning a cup after so many years of being awful and all the disappointments in the past. (watched them come so far) haha.
