glad that you all seem to agree with what I am doing!!! I bought some small meal worms today to see how that goes, he hasn't eaten any yet but they are in a dish hanging from one of his branches!!
our 5 year old beardie, always had bugs. I don't think he would ever have given them up, unfortunately he passed away, but he certainly loved his veggies as well!!!
I have tried worms a few times and he isn't interested at all, both times tried from hand and then put into a dish after giving up.
here are two shots of him!!!
We have an almost 4 month old male veiled Cham, he is doing fantastic, eating pooping, and actually getting better about handling, (he likes my son the best!!)
My question is regarding how many crickets he should eat a day, I work from home and am able I check/mist throughout the day. I put in...
I feel so bad for you, we too put our 5 year old bearded dragon down in the summer and the ache we felt was awful!! like yours though at least the suffering is over and they are at peace!! gentle hugs
a couple months ago one of our baby crested geckos got out of his terrarium, we too found him/her within 5 minutes, but he had been out all day and had only gone about 4 feet from the tank!!! crazy scary though!!!
glad you found him
just found out that one of my babies that I "sold" to my niece (suckered me into giving it to her) died!!!! I completely think that she miscarried for the baby!! this was one of our first babies and was an expert in hunting, my thought is that she did something wrong but I hate to be so...
we had a beardie as our first experience owning a reptile, he was fantastic, easy to care for and handling! unfortunately he got a tumour in one of his eyes that continued to grow and he passed away!! (vets couldn't do anything about it, cancer) we miss him and maybe someday we will get another...
Great photos!!
I have a breeding pair of cresties, and our first 10 eggs (5 clutches) have all hatched, 6 went to homes and the next 4 are ready to go!!! They are so much fun!!
our Leaf likes my son way more then me, but he is all talk too once we have him he settles right down and goes bright green! But doesn't like to be out long and after a while gets all excited and starts to run around
just to clarify we got him at a month old now he is 3 months, and he doesn't scream very often just once in a while!! mostly he is bright green when holding (see picture)
I was thinking that at this point he would be eating from our hands or at least something other then just crickets!! maybe...
