holy crap! ur poor cham...i had no idea mealworms can do that. now knowing what they're capable of, i don't care that they squirm in pain any time i pick one up tweezers to feed my jacksons! and it sounds like she's in good hands :) gl w/the vet visit.
Yup, female xanth for sure! (I own 2), I'd guess around 10 - 12 months as well. They're the only chams in Hawaii so yeah, there you go. Funny, she doesn't seem very stressed, which is cool...they seem pretty laid back, but yeah, they do live in Hawaii lol :D
I own 4 jacksons myself...probably the most any sane person should have. Even one can be quite a handfull, but I will tell you they are worth it and I love them to death. They are my favorite chams by far and are a great choice if you've done the research. Feel free to hit me up with any...
I know the feeling...but living in the mainland def sucks. Either too hot or too cold or too humid, plus u can't surf anywhere. Jacksons aren't even supposed to be here in the first place, so ill take what I can (living in hawaii with 3 cb jacksons/1 wc!)

I'm in Hawaii...they're very common on Oahu, Maui, and Big Island ("Hawai'i"). I actually just adopted a wc female xanth, she was wandering near the street by a friends house and we were worried about her and took her in :)
I'll be looking for that post...one of my Xanth's has a very similar looking poo. I really hope he's not impacted!! He likes to eat the fertilizer rocks in the plant! Idk if I'd prefer impaction over parasites :-P
lol wtf's up w/that tail??? never seen that before
well, in my tail observations, seems like the position of their tail just depends on however they need it at the time based on their current movements. Basically if they're not moving, it's more likely to be curled. Then the...
Wow...best thread today by far lol. The male is absolutely stunning, and the female...well, can you really ask for more?? My wife should take a few tips from her, lol.
