What are you dusting with? Most calcium with d3 has way too strong of a dose to be using everyday. Your guy may be fine as of right now but eventually problems will occur
That way does work well and Ive done it in my beer cellar which is the same temp and Ive found taking them out of cup and feeding them small amounts at a time ends up being about the same growth rate. Doing both they would prob last a long time!
Does your chameleon cup feed? Having someone put feeders in at night would be the easiest way. Its really not that big of a deal feeding later if its only a couple insects but I wouldnt go more than that.
If you take them out of the cup and only feed them a little every day they will grow slower snd once they get big you can put them in the fridge every other day to slow growth also. Ive had one cup last me a couple months almost
I would add more branches also. A live plant like a schefflera or pothos are great for humidity and drinking off. If you havent listened to chameleonbreeder.com podcasts i would really listen to episode 1 on micro climates. Really informative podcasts. Good luck
No need for a light at night unless your house gets below 55 he will be fine. Never heard of that uvb but Most on here use reptisun 5 or arcadia t5\t8 tubes.
I would add a lot more branches/ vines for him to roam around. There isnt much in there. I switched to dusting with repashy calcium + a few years ago and its been working quite well.
I just re did my outdoor enclosure and bought a passiflora ( passionflower) coral glow. I saw passiflora on the safe plant list but now that I look back it is a different species listed. Anyone know much about flowers and have any clue If these are safe?
It provides really good shade, has...
I live in San Diego and keep my panther out starting usually end April until October November depending on night time temps. Just make sure they have shade to escape sun and I'd recommend misting a lot outdoors.
Thanks for the vet info, I had an appointment for Saturday but I read a post from Dave weldon on saline solution for contacts and gave it a shot over the course of a few hours. My last bit I was able to start seeing his pupil again and flushed it out enough where I could manuelly remove the...
My panther has a bad left eye as of today. I feel he can see barely put of it but not sure at all. Anyone know exactly what it could be or a good vet in San Diego? I had an ant problem a few weeks ago and there are still some in there after taking the plants out and re potting but I am worried...
