Shes not digging anymore but doesnt she have to turn around to lay as i can see the tip of her tail in the hole??? She might of fell asleep?!? Is that ok?

My female veiled has dug and made a cave to lay her eggs. Shes been down there for most of the day. The laying bin is in her cage and i just wanted to know wether to turn her lights off as its 10.40PM (uk time)???? Has anyone had this problem or have any ideas of what to do? Thankyou

She cant see me when i look. I checked the soil last night when she was asleep and its seems fine. Maybe i should leave her and see what happens!

The bucket is 10" deep it holds 9 gallons so its deep enough. I saw something about if its the 1st time digging you can help them out and make at tunnel???

Soil and sand mix its not to moist i reckon its about right.

Shes just short of a year old and the last hour shes been mating with my year old male so lets hope for the best! isnt it weird how they can look the perfect couple when there are together but as soon its over they hate each other! Now the waiting game for her to lay!
