i'm not gonna express myself on the ethics of cross breeding, despite being a pure line breeder,but i have a female nosy be that refused to mate with two different bloodlines nosy be male.

personally, i don't supplement with vitamins mountain species.i had problems with montium and merumontanus,both in males and females, concerning throat swallowing,not sure we can call it an edema.hence i decided to completely cut on vitamins,except for d3,that i give only when animals are not...
i would reduce supplement of vitamins and increase watering,that should help reduce the edema. and keep her outdoor as much as you can.

i am not sure i am talking about the same thing, but occasionally some of my female panther showed swelling around the gular area, feeling soft at touch, like filled with liquid.this varies in size,and in periods.
a friend of mine with a non blood related specimen found the same swelling...
