Yea, I had to wait until pay-day to get this guy....and someone came in and offered more than they were asking...now he's gone. :(
I posted a thread a week ago or so asking whether you all thought I should get him...now...after I decide to get him...he's gone. I wanted to get him last...
Thanks so much for all the replys....to you all. I'm going to buy him. I'm going to try to buy the female as well. But I've got to get another cage and setup first.....which may take a month or so.
Right now I just got my 24"x24"x48" cage for the male. I'll have the setup complete...
I'm torn...I have never owned a cham before. This would be my first. I've read on here and other places (web sites, books, etc) that you should only buy from people that take great care of what they sale.
So I'm not sure what do to.....I hate to think of this guy being raised for 7 months...
Yes, they have left the tag on the branch...pretty sad IMHO. I dont dont think I've ever seen light on top of the cage...which is NOT good. I think they place them outside. But yea, not great care at all.
but with that said...they both seem to be in good health. But who knows how long...
I'm still working on getting my environment setup...but I should be done within the next week or so...
My local reptile store has had this Panther cham for 2 to 3 months now. The owner told me he's 7 months old(does that look true?). I go into the store to see him twice a week. He seems in...
Thanks for all the replys. I'm still not sure what type of cham to get. This helps with that decision.
It seems like Panthers are less aggressive than Veiled. Not sure how Jacksons compare against the two.
thx again....
I've heard some (like the Veiled) are very aggressive...is that true? Does the bite hurt?
Are some less aggressive?
What are your overall thoughts on the subject?
Sorry if this seems like a silly question. I dont own a cham yet...I just want to learn as much as possible...
Ok, I'm new here. but this is real for me.....you're so addicted to this new craze that you go on ebay and spend several hundreds of dollars on Chameleon items like plush figures, glass figures, pictures and even a super cool Chameleon phone (see below).
yea...thats me. addicted..big time...
We'll...I'd like to say hello to everyone. I'm new to these forums...and new to having a strong interest in Chameleons. I'm really looking forward to having one as a friend (aka..owning one). Right now...I'm in the learning/reading/buy equipment stage. It will be a few months before I...
