Mellers on the ground. Not good.

They are not in a cage, it's a free range. A cluster of trees and branches that they have free range of. It is in a high traffic area . There is nowhere in my tiny apartment that I can put it but there. I am in the process of looking for houses to buy and I am going to get an extra room...

11 chams going 350 miles in -12 temps

When I have to take any reptile, I use a cooler with a heat pack or bottle. It keeps it warm in there but not too hot. I heat up my car ahead of time and hurry into it with the cooler. Maybe mist them also to keep humidity ok. They are much easier to transport than my frogs in the winter...

    Escape!!!

I have crickets and super meal worms hanging from bins in the trees. I have no idea of age. I just got them in December. One is 11oz. One is 9oz. I keep mostly frogs. I went to a reptile expo and fell in love with these guys. The guy told me it was ok to keep them in a 100 gallon aquarium...

    Escape!!!

I have just made a small free range for my Merelli. I live in a small apartment so the only room I have is one without a door. The table I have is 23 inches off of the ground. It has two fig trees and one schefflera. They keep escaping everyday! I watched one hang from his tail and then...

    Norfolk pine Ok?

I am still working on the area. Generally, I would have done this before I purchased the animals, but I was misinformed and had them in a tank. I did find a cheflera but It's barely big enough for the two. I didn't think fake trees were ok. I will purchase one to get me through until spring...
