    Well, we have a problem

180g sounds incorrect. My male is the largest of the gang at 198g, and he is at least 30% larger than Clarice. The male panthers are behind him at 190ish.

    Well, we have a problem

Depends on age, build, etc. I havent written down Clarice’s weight recently, but she was around 106g at around 15 months old. I’ll try to weigh her tomorrow, she is a hair over 4 years old now…. And still a grouch.

    Well, we have a problem

She looks pretty good to me. Vets are only human, sometimes they make mistakes, or issues might be outside of their expertise or experience. Just like human doctors, sometimes you might want a second opinion, and there's nothing wrong with that ... or even a third opinion if you are still on...

    Ordering supplies for new cham

I think it depends on the water quality. Good quality tap water (considered healthy for humans) has some naturally occurring minerals that ARE good for people and some plants. Some species of plants and animals (orchids and fish, for example), are really sensitive to minerals, and so tap...

    Well, we have a problem

Curious if they give you any topical antibiotics for the area they lanced, or if they'll just pack it with antibiotics and give her a little stitch.

    Well, we have a problem

If I may, I'd suggest moving the feeder run a little so that if she tries to climb around it / between, she isn't squeezing between anything. Is she pacing and climbing the walls like crazy, lately? If so, she might be looking for a mate or egg site. My girls get into some precarious...

    Well, we have a problem

Good vibes and good luck to you both. Keep us posted on what the vet says, I'm interested to learn about her issue and their treatment. Its always so helpful to read about other's experiences. Speedy recovery!

    Well, we have a problem

Please keep us posted on the vet’s treatment route. I’m curious if they will lance it or try antibiotics, only.

    Well, we have a problem

oof! need to get her to the vets as soon as possible. if it is an infection, she needs antibiotics ASAP. I've lost a chameleon to complications from oral infection that was treated long before they came to me. It is a serious infection, and its likely very painful.

How to kill BSFL i had pupate

birds will eat and enjoy them any time of year, but would especially appreciate the little soldierflynuggies during winter. You could put them on plate or just throw them on the lawn. Many people intentionally use BSFL for composting and pollination (secondary).

What Do I Do If Power Goes Out... During A Snow Storm.

Leaving your stove unattended is a fire hazard. Firefighter friends have experienced many fires and lost lives that started with someone using their stove for heat in winter. https://ota.dc.gov/release/dangers-using-your-stove-home-heating

    Chameleon Art

One of my favorite artists (and also sorta kinda local) has a one-of-a-kind chameleon painting up for grabs. @lurker._ on IG. I have one of his pieces in my office… been hoping he’d have another chameleon piece available for a long time. Bad timing on my part, but sharing in case anyone is...
