    Chameleon lights...

the blue one doesnt give off any tint of blue to the light I've been using it for over a year now and no issues have come up. Just curious, why would the blue light bulb make a difference in the health of a chameleon?

    opinions?

you would do far more damage taking him with you then you would leaving him at home with a dripper, misting and lots of food

    opinions?

please just leave him at home. the container you made looks like it would fit him and not much else in there. high levels of stress, no roaming room, constantly changing environment and constant movement is very damaging to a Cham especially one that young. its always a good idea to have a plan...

    Eye problems

flukers isn't the best to gut load with. Crickets themselves don't have much nutrition to them and gut loading with flukers could give him a vitamin deficiency. do you ever use a multivitamin to dust with? also, 6 second misting sessions aren't the best either especially if he is dehydrated. Try...

    Overweight veiled?

lack of eating shouldn't be a concern. most if not all gravid females stop eating for a while before they lay. Mine didn't eat anything for like almost a week and a half but I was able to get her to eat some hornworms (and a lot of them too) right before she layed that night. Chameleons continue...

    Overweight veiled?

I wouldn't keep her in her laying bin 24/7 as that may induce lots of stress. just leave it in her enclosure and cover the sides of her cage with a sheet or something for privacy and if you think she layed look around in the bin and see if there are eggs in there usually they will be near the...
