I have a large bin I keep my crickets in and EVERY TIME fruit flies get in and lay eggs in the crickets infecting them, causing all of them to die... I'm really scared to feed these to my chameleon. Any way I can keep them out???
My chameleon's first shed took about 3 full days to completely finish. Just make sure your humidity is at a good level and keep an eye out. No worries, it just might take time.(y)
Since he's new, give him a few days to settle in. Then try feeding him and check his urates to know if he's drinking. Post updates on your new member.:D
Panther chameleons grow pretty large and I haven't heard many issues in behavior with Panthers so I think that would be a good start. But I'd like to see opinions from others.
They usually don't show an interest in fruits and veggies until a little older. You can still try wiggling around some pieces of pear (without skin),raspberry, bluebery, peach, and mango(without seeds or skin). For bugs, you can try small wax worms, superworms, dubai roaches, horn worms, butterworms, etc.
