I also have tried to keep an open mind and now agree with you totally. My wife had a cham last year that she followed the basic rotation schedule. The cham died, for whatever reason, with the best of care. Now with my cham, we are using Repashy supplements and are very happy with their...
Super worms are way too large for many chams. They bite and can hurt a cham. Ask for the giant mealworms. They are a bit smaller and easier to handle. I gutload mine with Repashy superload insect gutload formula and fresh kale for 24 hrs before dusting them in Repashy Calcium Plus and offering...
I guess you were responding to maxttu? But can I jump in here for a minute? The size you gave, I wouldn't get a fixture any wider than the top (18") so probably a 15-16" 5.0 tube, which ever is available, and the appropriate fixture. Just so it doesn't hang over the sides and it should be fine...
Brilliant idea and looks good so far! I also made a diy enclosure and found that my male veiled needed more 'head' room. I made a 4" riser, took off the old screen top and dropped the new one on top like you're going to do. Just used double sided foam sticky tape to seal the two. Worked...
I assume the screen will be on the outside of the frame? So you will probably want to cover the edges (and glue) with some sort of moulding or trim? Will this enclosure be inside or outside?
Ha, so have I, well filtered any way! I use a triple function PUR for the ice cubes and to fill our reservoir too. No mineral build up either way and it removes all the chlorine, etc.
I agree with Solid Snake. I built a system similar to Mist King's and even had a rain nozzle. That had to go really fast. I now just have mist nozzles that work fine. My cham sits under one of them and lets it bead up and he drinks.

NorCalAnthony posted this on one of his build threads. He used some of the same end pieces as I did however he used a completely different pumping system.
Depends. I just got some dubia nymphs cost around 25 cents each. Cheaper if larger order. That is post paid too! But figure that each one replaces 5-7 cricks at 10 cents each...
I don't know how big the cricket crystals are but Miracle Gro makes Water Storing Crystals which contain no chemicals just swell and store water. Their crystals are very small, about like coarse salt crystals and only swell up a small amount and they crush, break apart, very easily. Anyone here...
Slug, I have a thread under Enclosures and Supplies

So would you post your youtube thread on there when you have it uploaded?
Thanks.
So how much is a year's lease? I can move in next month! You both did an awesome job and you should be extremely proud of what a beautiful dwelling you have created for your cham. I'd never thought of stainless steel screening. The glass doesn't bother your cham? Usually they don't like to see...
So sorry to hear this news. Any sort of lymphoma is difficult. I hope Red is strong enough to endure the treatments. Have you got him on the "Dish" yet? Poor, poor Gizmo. You are all in my prayers.:)
