About how old is the cham in Petco do you think?
I dont think you should use a tilted aquarium and angle the UBV, because then it could cause blindness or vision problems in the cham since the light would be right in its face. Its better if its from the top, even if it is only temporary its...
I think a birdcage may be okay if its only temporary. It kinda depends on the type of cage it is, though. I would definitely recommend passing it on to someone else if its too much trouble for you. After all, its better to save him and have him kept in at least a little better care than to leave...
Im not really worried about it anymore. I was a little skeptical at first too until the phone call. He gave me all of his info and told me to call back Monday for the shipping address. He described the cham, its size, what its eating, the container its in, how its being shipped, and how my...
Good news. Got in touch with him over the phone. Turns out he had a family emergency, and hes going to have to wait to ship it until the 23rd. Im going to have to wait a little longer, that kinda sucks, but hey, at least I got some information from the call. :) Hes going to be a beautiful little...
Oh. Thats good to hear I guess, that could be why I haven't gotten a reply back.
No, it wasn't an ad. I posted on here asking around for a young male ambilobe, and my budget was 220. He responded and sent pictures of the little guy, and the sellers name is Alex.
Im not sure how used he is to shipping or anything. Im trying to get a hold of him to find out if he shipped it yet or not, but im not getting an answer. I need to know so I can go out and get the crickets for tomorrow. /: I got it for 220, and as far as I know this is his only ambilobe.
Does...
Im ordering from a guy named Alex. I posted on these forums a while back asking around for an inexpensive male ambilobe, and he shot me a message. Hes not a bigtime breeder or from any mainstream site that I know of, thats why I was asking. I didnt know anything about him other than that he had...
Okay, thanks. Yeah, im pretty paranoid about it, haha. I dont want to mess this up in any way if I can. Its bad enough that im going to be in school when its supposed to arrive. When it gets here, my parents are going to have to open it up and put it in its cage themselves. They dont know a...
Ok, good to know that it should be fine. :) About a week ago though, I told the guy that the weather should be fine enough to ship without a heating pad. I didn't expect it to suddenly change, and I don't think hes checked since then. Should I tell him to pack one anyway?
Hi all. :)
My first cham is supposed to be getting shipped tomorrow for arrival on Tuesday. Its an approx 3 month old male ambilobe.
I just checked the weather here for Tuesday, and it says 70|47 F, along with 90% chance T-storms. I know that doesn't sound like good shipping weather...
Thats cool. As my username suggests, I LOVE praying mantises. I used to keep them as pets all the time and even now if I ever come across one, Ill catch it and make it a little habitat. I'd hate to see one being used for chameleon food though, lol. D:
They're pretty hard to find too, at least...
Oh wow, thank you. I had no idea that glass terariums were okay and even good to use. Im a brand new cham owner, and everything that I heard said not to use glass, but now I know. Thanks again, learning something new every day. :D
I wanna see some pictures. ^.^
Im going to be new to cham owning, getting my first in just a few days. How long does it usually take for a cham to do the whole shedding process and what is the time span in between sheds?
HAHAHAHA... no.... anyone can eat hemp seeds. They're good for you, on a salad or something. My dad buys them because he's a health nut and likes organic things. You can buy them at places like Drug Emporium I think.
Great!! I was worried it wouldn't be enough or too much of one type of vitamin or something. :)
This will be my wet gutload:
Carrots
Oranges
Apples
Dandelion leaves
Lemon
Grapefruit
Potato
Green beans
Bell pepper
Collard greens
Mustard greens
