    Skittles loves being outdoors...

Thank you all for the kind words... They mean a lot coming from elders of the community like yourselves - Greatly appreciated! (y) From a pride of ownership perspective, it's incredibly gratifying to see Skittles (aka "Skedattle") thriving. ;)

How can you hang hanging plant baskets on a dragon strand?

I hung potted plants directly from the Dragon Ledges... The pots are from IKEA's BYGEL collection. Rearranged some things - 20160306 by NERVOUS posted Mar 6, 2016 at 12:13 PM

    Considering breeding my feeders but..

I recommend getting the Dubia colony started now. It'll be one less thing you have to worry about once your a Chameleon arrives. Plus, you won't have to wait for the colony to get established before you can start feeding from it. They'll likely already be reproducing at a rate capable of...

    Roach Feeders

    N. cinerea has a scary reputation, but the truth of the matter (at least based on my personal experiences thus far) is they're a GREAT feeder roach for Chameleons. That said, I feel compelled to give my $0.02 regarding some of the more common complaints. - Yes, N. cinerea can climb vertical...

    Roach Feeders

Yes, B. Dubia (aka Dubias) is a great feeder... No smell... No noise... They're easy to keep, breed, gut load, etc. I'm not sure if "Spotted Roaches" is another name for Dubias, but if you post a picture we'll be able to properly identify the roaches at your local pet store. As long as you...

Horn worm to chrysalis to moth...

Thanks for the heads up... Appreciate it! (y) So far, only 1 of 4 chrysalis have hatched... Maybe they'll all hatch on separate days so I can feed them off individually.

Horn worm to chrysalis to moth...

Apparently, my Cham loves Hawk moths! It took him a minute to size-up the moth, but he chomped it down without hesitation once he identified it as prey. (y)

Horn worm to chrysalis to moth...

The moths are huge too; especially after their wings unfold! I'd guesstimate their bodies are about 1.5" - 2" in length and 1/2" - 5/8" in width. I haven't seen the wings fully expanded yet, but they look like they could have a 3" wingspan! I've been reading up on these moths...

Horn worm to chrysalis to moth...

Last night one of the Horn worms I pupated emerged from a chrysalis in moth form! I wasn't trying to breed Horn worms. A few worms from the first pod I purchased grew too large for my Cham to eat. So, I decided to pupate them and use the moths as feeders. Honestly, I never expected...

Apparently, my Chameleon doesn't like Silk worms...

So, I was wrong... My Cham doesn't like SMALL Silk worms. He has absolutely no problem eating BIG ones! :ROFLMAO:

Apparently, my Chameleon doesn't like Silk worms...

I received my first pod of Silk worms a couple days ago. Unfortunately, my Cham doesn't seem to like them. I had high hopes Silk worms would be a big hit given how nutritious they are... And how voraciously he consumes Horn worms. Best I've been able to manage to-date is 1-2...
