What is the name of that plant with red in it? I like how it adds a bit of colour to the environment.

If you are adding plants that do not need a large pot, you could try hanging them so that that nothing rests on the bottom (or at least nothing big). Then it will be a lot easier to clean the bottom. Some members on here have creatively hung their plant pots in this way.

To ease your fears, perhaps you can start off slowly at your own pace by getting the cage all set up first, including the measuring instruments, supplements, branches, plants, lighting, etc. Then start a thread and post pictures of your set up and everything that you have ready to go except for...

I have never made one myself yet but many of the DIY feeders that I have seen in here make the bottom with mesh. Perhaps so that any water from misters or misting will not collect in the bottom. But since you have a hook on your feeder, you can easily take it out to empty any water built up or...

Do you stick a thumbtack into the branch and attach that to a neodium magnet on the outside of the cage or do you somehow insert a neodium magnet into the branch and attach that to another neodium magnet on the outside of the cage? Thanks.
