well this may not be the problem, but I would recommend lowering the basking temperature to the mid to higher 80's. If there is an exotic vet near you, you could get a fecal done to test for parasites. my cham had coccidia which effects their eating, causing anorexia and stunted growth.
I would recommend getting a linear uvb lamp. They can spread the light out over the length of the cage instead of in a regular spotlight with the coil bulb. I personally like the linear bulbs way better than the coils.
He may be able to eat newly hatched ones. How big is your baby? The worms are pretty squishy and easier for them to eat. If you got eggs, you cold probably hatch them yourself so you had smaller worms
I use a small plastic cup amd have created a loop with a vine in his cage that I pop the container into, it works great. I also have another with holes in the side, that i used to hang it up with fishing line. There are also holes in the bottom so water can drain if it gets into it since t...
He may also enjoy variety in his diet, which could make him more readily eat from your hand if he sees something new he likes. My cham dosent care where the hornworm is, as long as he gets it!
I would stop feeding mealworms as they can be hard to digest and would give more of a variety. you could feed crickets, roaches, superworms, black soldier fly, hornworms... There are so many options! Does your calcium have d3? you will need to use calcium WITHOUT d3 every feeding, then a...
This is a little off topic but the "expression" of your cham in the first picture is a little concerning to me. If you wouldn't mind could you fill out "how to ask for help"?
I dont really think its shed, but then again Im always learning new things about these incredible creatures.
Hopefully @jannb or @jajeanpierre can help
You are just going to have to find someone to mist him throughout the day or get a misting system. I left my cham for 4 days with a monsoon mister (its not good at all in my opinion) but now I have a mistking and feel a lot better leaving him for a few days. Even though a good misting system is...
I would just let him settle into his new home and dont mess with him. He is probably just stressed from getting into a new surrounding he isnt used to. I would give him a couple days to adjust.
