Just wondering if anyone knew of the "best" deal when it comes to crickets and also other feeders. I just ran across this website: http://www.millbrookcrickets.com/ourproducts_crickets.html
they are the cheapest ive seen so far at $18 shipped for a 1000.
it all depends on how much you feed them, temps ect. good idea leaving the soil down there. they will let you know they are ready to lay their eggs by digging/ pawing at the bottom of the cage, or being completly restless looking for a place to lay.
im not trying to rain on anyones parade... and im going to sound like a "horrible" cham owner but...
who in their right mind would seriously chase down 20 ingredients, many of which arent readily available- to feed a f'ing bug. emeril *bam* lagassi wouldnt even know where to start if you...
well shes back to eating and drinking like a fish, and the weight is starting to come back. about that last egg, do you think it will pose a problem? when will she form her next clutch, and will she lay the egg with the rest of the next clutch?

yea i thought that was a possibility also. ill try to catch her after she goes, becuase that very well could be the case. too bad both are about the same size:rolleyes:
my female veiled recently layed 34 infertile eggs, but yesterday i palpated her, and it feels like she forgot one.:( what to do now?
if i reintroduce her into the laying box, will she lay only 1? shes eating and drinking normally, and everything else seems to be fine.
well first thing, is if it is safe and in govt specs for me to drink water out of the tap, then im sure a cham will have no problem with it. i also dont think the cricket breeders are using filtered water to feed those things, so theres a source of chemicals. you filter the water you give you...
sounds good, eventually when i get a workshop, i will build all custom enclosures with a base/ hood area do you dont see the ugly lights...
also its really nice having an area where you can keep a cricket keeper and dust ect, and having it handy. if you have some pics, post em, i would like...
try it, and let us know how it works out. if they cant see each other when they are basking, feeding ect, then it might work. if you see them getting stressed or territorial, seperate them.
i really think the animals will let you know they are not happy (not eating, displaying defensive...
