Let me call your boss and tell him you are slacking off work and on the Chameleon Forums while you are supposed to be working:)
Second thought, if I did, he may add another 45 days before you get a day off. Not a good idea.......
Thanks Laurie, when the babies are born, you will have to come over for a visit ;)
Sang- it does seem like a I breed a lot of reptiles. Let's see: chameleons, bearded dragons, crested geckos, sulcatas, corn snakes, ball pythons. I am working on getting my boas to breed this year as well.
I have been attempting to breed my very high white pied ball pythons for the last couple weeks. This is the first time they came close to mating. Their vents were lined up perfectly, but nothing was happening. Hopefully soon!!!
I have a nice juvenile female sulcata now available that is 7.5 inches. She is a baby that I produced and has been in my care since birth. She has been living outside in the soothing Southern California sunshine for the past year and is growing very quickly.

7.5 inch.......$325...
Don't give up hope.
I had an ambanja several years ago, which was non-responsive to females. And I tried everything like you mentioned. Then one day I took him outside on a summer day and put a female in his cage. Then he started mating with the female and became a regular breeder.

Set an egg crate on top of the dirt. They will start to climb in it. After a while, you will see a lot of them on the egg crate. Now it is easy to remove them.
I was worried that with your cold, cold temps, I would not be able to ship her. But there was a significant one day warm up and it worked out just fine.
She may not eat for a few days, but she will come around like you said. As you can see, she hasn't missed too many meals:)
He looks great. His coloration is simPly gorgeous for his age. It looks like he will have a lot of yellow mixed in with adult coloration.
For the next several months you will see a transformation to his adult coloration.
His daddy, Stryder Jr. is proud of him.
She is in a cloth bag. Once you untie it and open it up, some chams will come right out, others need a little coaxing.
Get her to her cage so she can warm up.
She has a prolapse. Keep it moist. She needs to see a vet ASAP.
Sometimes the chams can retract it on their own. This looks like a big prolapse and I don't think she will be able to retarct it back in.
