Adam, your cage looks fantastic. Looks like you really did your research! Once you receive your new cham, take him out of the box and put him in his cage right away, then give him a good misting with warm water. He'll probably be thirsty, and you can offer him food right away, but don't offer...
I have a beautiful boy sired by OSCAR for sale here that is just amazing! VERY friendly and handleable and absolutely beautiful! He eats from my fingers without thinking twice, and has an exceptionally strong grip. Super healthy, and ready for a new home! He would be a PERFECT candidate to add...
The first female is SOLD.
I will take some updated photos of the second female once she has completed her shed. She had skin hanging off of her right before lights out tonight. Looks like the teals are coming through, and I saw a good bit of her peachy pink colored female colors blooming.
East coast locales can take much longer to reach their full coloration potential. Sambavas will sometimes go through a stage where they can resemble at time blue barred ambilobes, or in you case maybe even ambanja. He may not begin to really look sambava until he is 10+ months old. A mixup is...
Definitely looks like a subq nematode to me. The big lump looks larger than anything I have seen before, perhaps its a few lumped together. Any of the small "squggly" lumps around its body are also individual worms. They are most visible around the belly. I think I see a few other in the photos...
mantisplace.com has awesome prices, and very reasonable shipping. Hatch rates are darn close to 100% if you hatch them out right away. I have been extremely satisfied with them so far.
He looks fine and healthy to me. Doesn't help that some of these "3 month olds" on these forums, I feel, are improperly represented age wise. So its hard to compare them correctly. Just keeping feeding him and provide him what he needs. He'll hit a growth spirt eventually where he'll grow like...
Right out of the egg, I use 15x16x20" fully screened cubes. The back and left and right sides are covered with plastic sheeting (white kitchen trash bags). I would recommend using white instead of black because the white reflects, giving you more light in the cage not only for the plants, but...
Thanks you guys. Jessica they are really an awesome locale. Its a shame there arent more established cbb animals around. Lucky, I have no idea what I am going to price them at, I just really hope they grow to be healthy!
Here are some updates of the babys. The 8 that are out are doing fantastic. They are eating very well, and are a very active group. No sleepers/nappers or lethargic babys here thank god. I have had some high hopes for these offspring. I am trying to snap a photo of one nagging a fruit fly but no...
I have two more ambilobe females sired by OSCAR that are ready for new homes. Both are super healthy, feeding on crickets, dubia roaches, and blue bottle flies. They both have very calm temperaments, and would make fantastic pets or for those planning on breeding, an awesome new addition to your...
