Technically you do not require a UVB light because pygmy's live near the forest floor were little light penetrates but it wouldnt be a bad idea to give them beneficial UVB. -Nate

I have a four month old male veiled who was showing similar symptoms and it turned out that he had a bacterial infection. I would say you should bring a fecal sample to your vet to get it tested. Hope this helps. -Nate
