The goliath hornworm moths are hatching. What to do now? Etc: I followed many instructions and 40/50 of my silkworms died, other 10 I fed off. None even started to coccoon.

I just have more than one timer, probably not the answer you were looking for. Yea, if it doesn't give off light it's fine.

Need a product that will control lights- advice?!

Well, you'll only need one timer, :D since we don't use lights at night, they need complete darkness to sleep, but if it gets below 50 degrees you can use a heat bulb that doesn't use light. You can find these at the local petstore, trying to think of the name.

Just makin sure my set up is good! quesions on temperature and name :P

It doesn't really maintain humidity.. it more breeds bacteria and he can still swallow it. They go to the bottom when you loose the crickets. They shoot, they grab bark, they swallow, they become impacted, which means you either pay a large vet bill and they live or you pay a large vet bill and...

    toe nails on a Jackson

We don't shorten their nails at all. They use them to climb, just let them be. If a vet offers to shorten them then they don't know much about chameleons.

Yet another sad pet store experience

They would have been a bloody pulp by the time I was done. This little midget can get angry, especially over things like this. What an ignorant creep. He probably likes seeing animals in pain and fear.

    A Real Treat

Those are not recommended.. they can cause Gout and chameleons don't digest bones well. They could be fed once a year at most.

    He's a big fat jerk.

Hahah I would but the entire bottom of his cage is the drain. After making the cage I decided to cut out the bottom wood, I put two 2x4's parallel and put heavy chicken mesh onto of them, which I set the cage ontop of. Under that I have a drainage bin my dad ordered that I just slide in and out...

    He's a big fat jerk.

His temperment is fine as a lot of you know. Some of you also know he poops directly into the drainage at the bottom. I came home and couldn't find him, looked everywhere in his cage. I got my flashlight and looked around the bottom, and saw what looked like him being squished under a...
