The One outside is exact to inside one, Only smaller, and I painted it all black with waterproof paint. the bottom actually can hold water and is sealed at construction let dry very well, with a non toxic rubber based elastromeric formula that is brushed in. I already have other ideas for this...
I could save ya the building headach, I have an ungodly amount of tools and a shop, so this comes easy for me. Plus This new design just makes such good sence. I also think if it were to be moved, say to another house or state, It will also dissasemble and be reassembled at the other end. So...
Thanks All,
I live In the Gunnison Crested Butte area
Ya know I'm a pretty modest Guy but skilled for some reasom with my hands.
I have stumbled across a cage design that I really think would work well for other Cham Keepers, Its Light (but strong!), can be custom stained or painted...
I have one and honestly do not like it well, I made it into a two level cage and put my Bearded Dragons on each floor. The zippers are a pain and shakes the cage to much almost shaking chams out of the branches at times. Check out my thread I just built a new cage that i'm thinking of selling.
Yea, I'll post some up soon. I've had it set up this way for some time now. and I am planning an entire addition -- a sortof full on geen room for them like a real walk through sanctuary! Complete with real rainstorms and thunder and such.(stole that rain Idea from my local super market friut...
I do use Dripsystems for most, For My Parsons I invented and use a timed fresh water rain system that is compleatly water collected below in which it ends up down actual drain system and into actual house's drain system. Pretty sweet setup.
"Thompson" I thought about building for others. and have came up with variations of size and such. I have a real easy kit Idea that could put the thing together with little mechanical experience. (so most anyone with the ability to use a screwdriver could assemble in say, one half hour.)
Here...
Went out to the garage today and some how came out with this after about 3 hrs of my time and some wood I had laying around.
Yea was expecting something nice BUT? This cage also has seeled bottom and can hold 2 gallons of spilled water. and will be adapted with a drain hose with...
Yea Chameleons do not stink. and they (if healthy) even poop in a nice little sack;). That drys quickly with almost no noticable oder and (I use a shop vac) to suck up regularly and keep a clean dry cage floor when possible.
One other thing, I freerange alot of mine and seriously, I have most...
Well you timed that desision right -- as other farms are curently diseased and failing to produce the demand.
Also become a Site Sponser here and I'll buy from ya,
It is a Senegal, and I had one once that stayed green most the time. But they Are like Fischers Chams in that they like to travel alot so a cramped little cage may not suit yours. Also get it in a screened cage if possible.
Well, I have seen some good priced Panther mixes if your looking for a great pet. Multi local crosses are cheaper but will still provide you with a beautiful colorful usually good natured Cham.
You know, I would suggest a Male Panther Cham (As long as you have room for a large enclosure in time) for your first as they are usually more friendly even as adults, Very Pretty to look at, big enough at full size to locate easily. and so much more. BUT, I would not suggest a Ficus If you...
