IMHO I would keep the drip system just because it gives another source of drinking water. But, yes the fogger will help raise the humidity If you are worried about it, I would still continue to mist though
Remove all of it paper towels and reptibark
I would also bumb the number of feedings you are giving him since he is still growing. Also, make sure you are dusting his feeders everyday with calcium without d3
Can you post a picture of the enclosure (and him) just to be sure nothing is wrong with it? Also, they get darker colors when they are basking, to absorb more heat, so that might be what you are seeing
What is everyone's view on using this product?
I know that it is organic , but I'm concerned about the nitrogen levels
There is a total of 5.0% nitrogen
1.0% phosphate
1.0% soluble Potash
Is it safe or no? I was browsing around at Lowes and seen in on the shelf. Thanks in advanced:)
I would check the classifieds , and sponsor lists.
You can find some incredible deals just on the classifieds. I think Junglefries is selling some panthers on there as we type
I would use bleach water ,if they are to big for a oven. Scrub down the sticks ,then letting them sun bake outside for multiple hours, then rinse and repeat:)
I would invest in a digital thermometer, you can get them cheap online. The dial type thermometer do a horrible job reading temps in a basking spot. In a tank you have a risk of overheating and thats no bueno. Good thing you are getting a cage:)
Looks like you have sand in the bottom? If so...
Are you misting him per say? Many chams don't like to be misted so you might see him run, but he still should be drinking. If you are worried about hydration , get a dripper and some hornworms. I would say raise the temp in his basking spot closer to 85-88 ish . I would also try misting with...
You might want to add a heat lamp with a low wattage house bulb to increase the basking spots, do you know how old he is ?
Are you misting at night frequently? The low temps would worry me as a cause for a RI , but that's just my opinion.
Hey guys and gals! I was just wondering what everyone's procedure on feeding off blue bottle flies to chams, Would keeping the spikes in his cage be okay or would they over populate the cage?
Thanks in advanced! :)
Here is how I made mine, but mine has a larger front on it
The larger crickets tend to get out and climb the walls of the cage so Merlin chases them down
For the most part 80% of my feeders stay in the cup and merlin has access to all angles
Hope this helps!
Can you please fill this out and post picture of the cham, and the enclosure

Not sure if safe or not, hopefully someone else knows the answer!
My veiled is about 4 months old, and he can have a temper at times, but I do everything on his terms.
Do you hand feed him at all? That's a great way to start if you haven't tried it yet.
I started hand feeding him and luring him onto my hand and now when he wants out he walks on the...
