I'm pretty sure it varies by species as well. Panthers and especially Veileds are known to have bad attitudes, but I'm pretty sure Meller's and Rudis, for example, are much friendlier. Those were just a few examples.
Mealworms aren't even a treat food. Treats would be more like waxworms and butterworms. Freshly molted mealworms are definitely better than harder ones, but it seems like that makes most of your mealworms useless most of the time. Superworms are NOT large mealworms. Superworms are Zophobas morio...
You could put a sheet over his cage. Noise shouldn't be a big issue unless you've got the bass way up and it shakes his cage. Or you could take 8 AM classes like me! You'll fail them every time but at least you'll be awake with your cham! Speaking of which, it's past my bedtime =(
I use the JurassiCal from your first link (fyi please use the edit button when available, double-posting is not nice). As far as vitamin A goes, I recommend using Herptivite for most dustings but using Reptivite once a month. Reptivite has preformed vitamin A while Herptivite has Beta Carotene...
Not actually. It's not a use you'd learn about in a high school English class though.
Too true. Some people pay less than $50/month for entire houses while I pay about three times that in a 2 bedroom apartment. Electric companies usually charge in kiloWatt-hours though.
Personally, I'd like to believe the sponsors are coming here to experience my charismatic personality. But you can take the credit if you want, Sancho ;)
This is by FAR the best ask for help thread I've ever seen! Kudos to that. At that age I was just letting mine eat as much as he wanted, but somebody will have a better answer than that.
A nice juicy steak. You can get a good one at Ruth's Chris.
Edit: In the unlikely event you were referring to feeders for your chameleon, then I guess some of the "best" would be silkworms, dubia roaches, and hornworms. You can get all of those from Mulberry Farms and some of our other site...
I don't think there's anything wrong with them, they're still the same exact species. I think you will get a very unique-looking animal if you decide to go with the cross. So since you're not breeding, that's what I would get.
I'd say it depends on your intentions. I wouldn't suggest breeding the second one, but if you don't plan on breeding anyway, just get whichever one you think looks cooler.
Canada is lawless dude ... think Wal-Mart at 3 AM.
Yeah NewOwner, did you not see that lady who got her hand eaten and her face annihilated by a chimp?? Not a good idea.
Where did you hear that? As far as I know most citrus trees are toxic. I'm not sure if lemon is included but I'd rather be safe than sorry... plus it has thorns!
