The squeak noise alerts me to the fact that Waldo needs the antibiotics. A chameleon weill rollercoaster, but it's really a downhill experience at this point. If you get Baytrill, you can do some of the doses orally mixed in with MRP... I'll send you some asap if you allow me to, with...
Personally, I'm impressed with, and happy, that you are doing all you can do to make it right for the little guy. A chameleon's hero and good friend. :D
I was once told that all spiders are toxic when it comes to feeding chameleons. I trusted the source and have stayed away from the desire to experiment.
Just a word of encouragement. Fractal got lost for 8 days. I had given up on that eighth day and then I found him. You will too. :D
He's closer than you think.
What I like about Bob's promist systems is that the pump will not burn out if it runs out of water and keeps pumping. They are good and solid. I have a combination of the nozzels. Big drops for the veiled and mist for the jacksons.
Spit bubbles could be the beginning and if you get the antibiotics you need, you can get him quickly through this. In this case, I would opt for the baytrill, because you can give it orally if you absolutely have to. Ask for a meat flavoring for force feeding, to cover the bitterness. You can...
I have noticed the pushing of that byoid bone in a URI. I wonder if it is a natural movement done to push mucus away? Have you seen any strings when the mouth is open?
Thank you for your input on the Salmonella portion of my query. While I don't believe my CB veiled has ever had salmonella, I know there are about 2,235 strains of it and that around 36% of lizards are carriers, therefore I am still concerned as I am very close to my cham. He likes me to kiss...
I know the face you are talking about. the same one I wore the first time I saw my veiled do the same. I grabbed him with both hands and pumped him slightly just in case. lol slly looking back... but... =whew=
I'm glad your story has a good ending. :D
First off... let me say that I love the name you chose for him. Kind of like my canary that I named Shan Cannery.
Second...I feel like you are going to find him, no matter the amount of time that goes by. I think he's closer than you might be looking toward. Best of luck to you finding him...
Veiled cham in question weighs 9.5 ounces. I'm giving him .05 mil every 48 hours. Sub Q and today, IM Doesn't seem like much.
I must spend a lot of time interacting with him as well as making sure he drinks a lot of water. At least he let me kiss him today after I gave him his shot. :P
