I use an Aquazamp system.
This is how I have it set up. I use the Raindomes so they "rain" downwards into the enclosures and I get a mix of mist and dripping water.
0730 - 13 minutes (this starts 90 minutes after lights on so they get time to wake up and warm up before shower time.

Thats great to be able to combine the two. Are you using and RO system? That would be great as it would eliminate mineral buildup in your misting lines and pumps.
I would go without any substrate as well. I go bare bottom, and have drilled 2.5" holes and added shower drains to the bases...
I guess I really should buy them from different breeders/sellers to do my best to be sure I have unrelated males/females.
I will take some pics once it is set up. I have everything all ready but decided to wait until I move next week to plant it.
I got these wrought iron plant stands at Lowes and was able to raise my Sheffelera's up much higher in the cage. You can do it but turning another plant pot upside down too. That will help with some of the plant coverage in the top as well. NOt sure how big your enclosure is but a 5 gallon...
I would agree with the comment regarding temps, particularly only dropping the temps by 5 degrees at night. The chams should have a more significant temp drop. I don't add any heat at night and they typically go to about 20 degrees C at this time of year. They can tolerate pretty low night...
I have both, my repptibreeze was my small enclosure and my DIYs are my adult ones. I prefer the look of the DIY, the aluminum vs the black. I like the door latches and the splineless screens.
All in all they are both okay cages but personally I will always buy the DIY going forward.
The...
So after I have planted the viv added some springtails etc, is there a time to let the plant life and reach some equilibrium before adding the cham inhabitants or are they needed to maintain the springtail/isopod colony.
I am really excited about this project.
Is there a member who has...
hmm as long as you want to eat bugs I bet he would be ok with it...
The set up is amazing. I think breeding chams sounds like a good retirement project for me. I'll have to take a chameleon room into consideration when we are looking for our house next year...now to convince my SO that we need...
One other thing. I would skip right over the monsoon and go straight for an Aquazamp or a Mistking. The reliability of the Monsoon appears pretty sketchy. I have an Aquazamp Raindome system and I love it but am told that it compares with the Mistking. I went with aquazamp for the low profile...

Welcome to the forums! I am envious of your reef tank. I used to have a 55 gallon with softies but I started Traveling for work and was afraid it would crash when i was away so I sold it.
If you look on the left aide of the forum pages there is a link called Care Resources. There are...
Blow drying them from the inside. I love it. I may try this when I set up again after the move at the end of the month since I will have everything torn down at that time anyway.
Ha Ha I knew you would reply. Moving on the 30th hope to come get me some roaches the following week and maybe some of those stick bugs they sound cool
Marshawn is getting bored of the Dubias...they are just so grey.....just ordered some silks and hornworms for them yesterday.
There are a number of great lists online.
Just search google for Chameleon Safe Plants
Here is a list from the forum there is an edible list (veiled do like to nibble) on the Care Resources page, at the bottom of the enclosures page.

So next month I am going to get some green banana roaches and I am a little nervous about their climbing ability. Has anyone ever used a product called Slippery Feet. I found it on Pangea's site, I have not been about to find any reviews about it.
If you have used it, please let me know...
You can usually get organic potting soil at one of the big box stores. I would be very careful using something like Miracle Gro as it is full of extra fertilizers and even with rocks on top chams are expert excavators and dirt eaters (one of mine). You could trying putting screening over the...
If you go to the pharmacy you can usually get cheap, generic bed pads there that are used for people. I liked those better because they don't have some weird dog attractant. I wasn't sure if the chams would sense that. i found them to be much cheaper than the doggie ones too.
It is a bit...
I have described in a few previous posts how I managed to fix my scheff problems.
First I replaced them....
Then I used a functional garden pot that I put inside a more decorative pot and tjhere is a good bit of air space between them.
I made a potting mis of 1 part sand, 2 parts...
