Sorry if this is tiresome but wanted to share.

Steve your set ups are first class. I don't understand heated feeder's under the cages. Also just how much space does you whole operation take? I am spaced challenged, just rearranged my cham room to unstack cages as the top cages were to hot. I would love to have something like you have.:D

Looks nice!

Couple of questions-

What is going on with all the pvc pipes under the cage bottoms? Is there a purpose?

And

Aren't you afraid to have heated shelves down below cages with a mist system above them? (water + electricity)

Oh- and wondering how you deal with drainage from the cages?

Undeniably the most amazing setup for chams and bugs I have ever seen. Your cages are only rivaled by Chameleon Company, cause he has a few more!

Curious if breeding Blue Bottle flies is:

1) Stinky

2) Contained, or flies everywhere

3) Worth it

4) producing 100/week 1,000/week

You are an inspiration sir.:)

Laurie,if you look at pictures #5,6 & 7 you will see tubs for feeders. Those tubs are located under one side of my 16 cage rack on a shelf below the cages and are heated with Flex Watt heat tape. The total square footage of this room/garage is just over 500 square feet/ 21 x 25. I think I can squeeze in 4 Parsonii cages 2.5 x 3 x 6 and one more neonate rack or some other cages if I put the Parsonii in my office. :<)
Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

The PVC pipes hold the cages over a drainage table and it catches all the water and drains it out. The water can't get to the heat tape but just in case I covered and sealed the heat tape with water proof PVC shower liner so it is double protected. All my cages have a drainage system and it ties into the plumbing so drainage is automatic. I got tired of filling and emptying buckets every day :D

Nick, thanks for the nice comments! I breed fruit flys but the blue bottle and common stable flys are a very nasty and stinky ordeal as they like rotted meat  I just buy the larva now as it is cheep and easy!!! :)
Thanks to EVERYONE FOR ALL THE NICE COMMENTS!!!!

Can I move in? I'm really quiet.

hmm as long as you want to eat bugs I bet he would be ok with it...

The set up is amazing. I think breeding chams sounds like a good retirement project for me. I'll have to take a chameleon room into consideration when we are looking for our house next year...now to convince my SO that we need one...
