Great thank you, I have his temps raised here, I'll just write down all the of necessary changes for her so it can be continued.
Do you think that all this excess medication will cause long term issues?
Hey there, I'm currently babysitting a friends hatchling panther Cham while she's on holidays, but he has a RI, and I'm really questioning exactly what is going on here. I'd love some feedback on this situation, as I'm not really sure what to tell her. She thinks that the vets word is gold...
As the title says, I'm looking for some in Canada, just some low end ones. Either that, or a US breeder that is willing to deal with CITIES.

Thanks,

To me, morph means a mutation in genetics. And locale is the color/size variant. I think something like a Translucent Veiled is a morph, because it`s alleles were mutated to created translucent skin, where as a locale`s genetic strain is consistent, and not mutated.
Nope. I AM the one with Panthers at the expos here, lol! They were brought in as a large order to a reptile store, and by the time I asked who produced them, the answer was nowhere to be found. Unfortunate, but what can ya do I guess.
This guy is 8 months old I do believe. He's turning out awesome, better than expected. I wish I knew who produced him though. He came from the US, big group of Ambi's and Tamataves in the summer. Oh well. He's gorgeous either way.
Any comments or criticism appreciated.
I don't understand.... have to keep them in glass because of awful weather? What does that mean? That it gets cold? It was -33C for over a week straight here.... with windchill -46C. That's -50.6F.... That's bad weather, but I would still never keep my Chams in glass enclosures because of the...
I've done Pyg enclosures before, but I want to try something different. I've always done Pyg enclosure with aquariums and screen lids. Hated it. Way too hard to fiddle around with the screen lid. So I was thinking, I have an empty boa enclosure cause I moved some snakes around, and I was...
I don't know about that. I think that it's the 'fly by night herpers' that are driving down the prices for a quick buck. When they run out of babies, consumers will have no choice but to pay the $300 for a Panther from the solid breeders. Market crashes are everywhere right now, reptiles or not...
Ahaha.... Sorry. Really should have clarified that. :o Carpet Chameleons! I know you have to wait for the 'bulge', just wasn't sure how long it would take before they're sexable with that. If it's pretty much the same thing as sexing baby Panthers, I have a handle on it. Just wanted to make sure...
5-6 a year in Western Canada, Edmonton, Calgary, and of course the infamous Red Deer show. :p All in Alberta though, but worth the drive.
I'm hoping to go out east next year for an expo, hopefully anyways! Far trip for the critters.
This question came up on another forum, 'Why do they call them Panther Chams?'. So, being as I wasn't 100% sure, I googled it and came up with this:
My issue with that is that they are some of the most brightly colored and patterned critters out there, how does this make them rouge like...
