I've done ants before.. Its no fun at all. Some natural non-toxic ways of controlling your problem. First, ants don't like crossing chalk. If you chalk around where they are entering, they will stop until they find a different way to get where they are going. Another great way to get rid of...
I had the same problem with John Stamos. I tried the shower, the eye drops, and upping the vit A with no real improvement. He was keeping his left eye closed when he was basking but would open it when he was in low light areas or bottom area of his cage. This went on for a week. I couldn't...
I'd have to say this is one of the more disturbing things that I have seen/heard on this forum. And a mealworm chewing its way out!?! I really hope that's not the case for the little guy. Best of luck and please follow through with taking this guy to the vet. It doesn't look like something...
I have seen one eyed chams function pretty darn well like nothing is different in their daily routine. I'm sure just like a human or any other species at first it would be difficult to get used to. If you are thinking about depth perception (aiming) think about people with only one eye driving...
Hey everyone. I have a few Manzania branches that I have no use for anymore. They are up from grabs if anyone wants them. I used one in my enclosure when John was a very small young man but I feel that he is too big now. They are up for grabs to the first one who can come get them. I live...
I really want to, but I'm waiting for the right one (picture). I am planning on buying a new free range tree this afternoon for John to sit pretty in. Hopefully I get some good shots for the contest. If not this month, I will for sure enter next month.
I was able to snap a new one today of his progressing colors.. It's not the best of pictures but I was amazed by the colors he was showing and wanted to share.
In the past when I have purchased waxworms, I was told to just let them be.. chill in their wood shavings and that's it. I've had them for a few weeks chillin outside in a little container on my balcony with no problems and no moths.
"Have mercy" as the real John Stamos would say ;). You guys are incredibly nice. I hope to get a good shot of him to enter the photo contest for this month! Lots of beautiful looking chams out there to compete with though. Wish me luck!
haha I didn't take it that way. I just hear it a lot on this forum. It makes me a proud owner. His rate of development is another reason why I take so many photos of him. It's just unbelievable sometimes.
Haha I promise! I received him from a close friend of mine here in OC. Here is the thread he started when they were hatching https://www.chameleonforums.com/babies-61477/ . Do people really lie about their chams age often? I mean I'm not trying to get him into a bar or anything :)
Thank you very much! I've tried to take at least 1 photo a week since I've had him.. In weekly time line you can see then incredible differences. Every time a friend comes over they think It's a different cham!
