Good choice. Mistkings quality and service is hard to beat. Got one last month and I love it probably one of the best investments for you and your chameleon.
Okay I have mine right now set on for 2 mins every 2 hours starting at 8am ending at 5pm and this seems to work pretty well. I might get a rain dome but with the mist my plants drip like rain I have a big umbrella and a pothos they both hold water pretty well even after it's done misting for him...
Jacksons I know need more humid conditions than other species and I'm just curious on what you guys set your mistking timers on throughout the day for your jacksons.
I have multiple branches for him to climb on including a large schefellera and pothos lots of cover for him to hide and climb. I'm just worried with the smaller diameter he won't be able to grip as good with the small size
Im trying to make a decision on if I should buy the small Exo terra vines or the large ones. I'm going towards the small size since I think it would look nicer in my cage, but would a jacksons be able to use a small size vine for his whole life? Would he be comfortable perched on a vine that...
My room stays rather cool my cage temps run basking 80-81 degrees while the ambient stays around 70-78 with a nighttime drop to around mid to low 60s. The pot idea sounds good but I might just let it grow out and prune as needed. I plan on getting the Arcadia 6% t5 from Light your reptiles as...
Still need to add a some vines and bamboo for more perch areas and I'm ordering the t5 HO soon. Plan on getting my chameleon by next month. Let me know what you think. This will be my first chameleon I plan on getting a jacksons.
I was wondering what kind of lighting setup you guys are using for your uvb. I'm planing on getting a hood over a lamp and was wondering if you have any suggestions on what kind of tube/hood I should get.
I've heard around the forums that fly like bluebottlefly/housefly are very good to get him eating if he's a picky eater. Pretty cheap and they are easy to care for.
I just felt so sad for the little guy and I was just so angered by it that I wanted to post it to show misinformed people that this is NOT How a chameleon should be treated it is not a like a cat or dog like this woman thinks it is. I know the majority of people on this site know the proper care...
Im getting a chameleon. I've already ordered a mistking. Have UVB light and basking light with lamps. Cage 24x24x48. This cage will have most if not all live plants pothos schefellera to name a few. And I have all the supplements ready for feeding calcium without and with d3. Have researched all...
