Is this enclosure too small or not!?

Have you tried building your own out of wood? It's much cheaper and you get the exact measuremeants you want. I built a 50"x42"x21" for about £90, about half of that price was for the glass. (cage wasn't for a chameleon)

    Any better?

The reason it's there is because it's easy to remove/replace when it gets dirty. Instead of wiping the tray. If I change it often then it shouln't be a problem right?

    Any better?

Thanks for the posative comment. I use tin foil on other reptiles lights and haven't had a problem so far so shouldn't be a problem. Do you know of any other ways of reflecting the light?

    Praying mantis as a feeder

I keep and breed quite a few species of mantis. I really don't see the point in using them as feeders when crickets and locusts are available. Mantids are skinny with long legs and bodies, tough skinned as well. Whereas crickets and locusts stocky and have a lot more 'meat' on them. Info on...

What do you all think of this for a young Veiled Chameleon?

Yeah I did wonder about it. I will remove both the lizard and substrate, what do you all use as substrate then?

What do you all think of this for a young Veiled Chameleon?

Thanks, the substrate doesn't stay damp for long. It gets watered in the morning so it's isn't wet at night when the cham would be sleeping. But I'll test it out and if it does get moldy I'll remove it before I get a my chameleon. Thanks for the comments.

What do you all think of this for a young Veiled Chameleon?

Hi, this is my first post here and this will be my first Chameleon(not my first reptile). So anyway, I recently fell in love with Chameleons, after researching them I decided it was something I definately needed to add to my collection and already had enclosures and heat bulbs spare(UVB light...
