Not watching her, she is in our bedroom by herself during the day and I clean her cage at night when she's sleeping. Besides the morning feeding and misting we have no contact with her now :( I feel neglectful lol.
As for being mated, I don't think so. We just got her about 3 weeks ago, and...
Still dig dig digging away. I moistened the potting soil more when I cleaned out her cage today. She has definitely gotten bigger now. I think it should be anyday.
Well, she has been back to digging all day today. I filled a crockpot and put it in her cage, but she likes the grounds better still. Will update later (not that their fertile, but just so she doesn't get impacted)
Definitely think this is cool.
Jadeaudio here is a link for more info. Don't know where you can get them though:http://www.wizardoflizards.com/Page.html
Would she stay down there until she was done, or would she take breaks? I turned her lights off at around 7:30pm and then at 8pm noticed her at her basking spot. Her one hole is half covered, could she have gotten too cold and will go back tomorrow if not done?
Ok, so how will I know if she's done? She has also made two holes I just noticed. She is back to her basking spot, but I don't want to check for eggs in case she's not done. If she's out from the holes does that mean she's done? She started about 11:30 12:00 this morning and finished about 15...
Nope, we actually have these cloth napkins around it as to give her privacy lol She's been going at this for quite some time now, how long does it usually last?
Well, this morning I couldn't find her on her basking branch, and lo' and behold she had dug herself a nice deep hole lol. She's still been at it for the past 2 hours now. She'll dig, then come up, go in head first, then tail first, come back up lol (btw, I'm not standing over and watching...
She's begun the dig down :) Thanks to this forum I was able to see the signs. Now is there any special aftercare after she lays eggs? I had read something somewhere about liquid calcium, but they were talking about fertile eggs, her eggs aren't.
Thanks :)
