85 is even to hot for a baby. I would try to keep it around 80 or below if possible for the first 3 months. I dont use a heat bulb at all for baby panthers that I raise. The heat from the flourescents keeps it right at 80F or so. Try getting your temps down and mist more often to make sure he is hydrated.
History – They told me as long as the bugs are smaller than the head, they should be ok to eat. The other night I noticed him backing away as a cricket neared him.
Current Problem – Havnt seen him eating, or drinking much.
