1st cricket breeding tragedy

:( finaly had little pin heads about 3 days ago after attempting it about 10 times and last night decided to rain while i was a sleep and all drowned

Maybe build a bin to put the whole breeding setup in, with a roof to keep them safe from the rain.

Look around for some scrap wood and other materials. Construction sites are good, just ask the head contractor if they have a scap pile or bin.

I also hear restaurants and pet stores give away bins/buckets they are about to toss anyway. That's how I snagged mine actually.

I got a roach colony in my room right now, that my mom has no idea about...

So I know the feeling.

no way am i keeping them in my room either XD smells bad my room is always kept closed so no vent XD i do have a window but its been rainy lately

Crickets do tend to smell terrible, which is why I'm doing Dubias. Can't stand dealing with the 30 adult crickets I buy at a time, let alone hundreds.
