pancho started showing some signs of illness about 1-2 months ago, it started with him staying at the bottom of his enclosure, we eats, poops, and drinks somewhat regularly (has a mistking) ,he developed edema in his villar area, it seems to be spreading to under his arm. He seems to act normal some days especially when he’s outside, it’s hard for me to gauge what could be wrong, The vet I’ve been working with has done decals, mouth smears, and blood work. The only issue he found was his calcium/phosphorus ratio was off, initially he felt it may of been from dehydration over the very dry winter months , but he prescribed 2differnt types of Medicicne to bind up the phosphorus and one to help with the kidney function. He seemed to be getting better about a week into his treatment but after I take him off his meds he goes back to hanging towards the bottom of his cage. I don’t know what to do anymore, I don’t want to have him in any pain, my gutloads are straight from the forum recomandations, I feed several types of bugs and follow calcium and vitamin dusting regimen .. need some advice will be posting the sticky and blood work results

What type of medicine your vet prescript? I have the same issue but it is not way too much like you. We went to see doctor about 4 months ago. My vet gave me "Alternagel" to lower down the phosphorus part. And we have to recheck again 2 weeks later and again in 3 months. Our vet recommend not to take medicine off until final check up which is coming this month. So check with your vet again about continuous on medicine. Mine was CA 14.1 and Phos 8.2. Then after 2 weeks, the ratio is back to normal but still need medicine at least once a week. I saw that you are same area as mine. PM me if you need help.
