Alligator Lizard?

I know it is a bit random...but has anyone ever kept/taken care of an alligator lizard?

My evil cat tried to kill this poor thing...His tail is missing and I barely got him out of the pool after a suicide attempt.

I am a bit worried he is going to die if I let him go.

Let me know what you guys think.

You should take it to a wildlife rescue because it is going to need antibiotics due to the cat bite. cats have a ton of nasty bacteria in their mouth that gets put deep into the tissue of what they bite due to the long, sharp teeth. Your profile says you like in California so i googled wildlife rescue and came up with this, if you are too far away from them, they should be able to get you a number of a place closer to you.
