And another 75 dollar Seedling :p.

So I am not sure this thing will make it. But I don't care lol. The other bird's nest fern, I think will be fine.

So before I tried to cork round "planters" for the Birdsnest ferns, I don't like it, they are too sloped like that, and it's not really natural.

This is. This thing is Litteraly roots just chilling on top of that driftwood stump. They are slightly pinches in the back, to keep them sort of in place, till it grabs on.

I don't think this one will get enough water, like this. All the water is going to drain into the leaves and through the crown. Which I hope will water the roots. I know they say not to water the crown, but how does this thing get water in nature? I have attached a pic of mine, and the way they are in nature.

Here's mine.

Now how else does that thing get water?? Lol. So we will see. If it doesn't make it, Oh well. If they both don't, IDK I'll figure out another way for 1 of them. All I can do is try.

They grown on top of dead trees and on branches with roots hanging. And they grow pretty face up, so how do they do that and still get wet roots without soaking water through the crown into the heart.

Sorry lol - screen shot of a video!

Mines on the bottom and only gets watered from the top. Its doing great! I plan on mounting it on a big branch - how else could you water it without watering the crown!?

I wonder id they tell people that with houseplants to avoid leaf burn. Plus watering with a little watering can isnt the same as our misting that gets every inch wet.

They say to water it, from the sides or dunk it. Idk people are crazzy. The plant rarely grows in the ground in the wild. When it does, it's usually because if fell and kept growing, it's not buried rather just sitting there.

So where it's located, the mister will (I checked) blast it like crazzy, and right now with the leaves up and at em, like that it drains into the crown and then will water the roots I hope. We will see.

They don't say don't spray the leaves, actually the opposite, they say do, to raise humidity around it.
