Another Newbie

I've been a lurker on the site for several months and finally registered a few weeks ago.

I purchased a seven month old Ambilobe about a month back from a person that didn't have enough time to care for their chameleon and all their other pets, so put it up for sale on the web.

I took the plunge as he was a colorful little guy, I was able to watch him eat and he was very sociable. The day I picked him up he walked right out the cage door onto my hand and up my arm to the shoulder (a trait he continues - he literally runs to the door most times I open it).

I set-up a 24"x24"x40" crib with real plants. He had been living in a smallish birdcage with a plastic plant when I picked him up.

The site has been a wealth of information. I am logged in several hours on most days.

He looks vary happy and it sounds like your doing a great job taking care of him. He is very beautiful. Im thinking my next cham will be a Ambilobe.

Thanks for the welcome. I find watching him fascinating. They are such incredible little creatures.

I am already thinking about what my next one would be!
