Anybody know Mike from FLCams?

I bought my little veiled from Mike (FLCams) him and sent him an e-mail but he never responded. Anybody have a good e-mail for FLCams where I can get an answer to my question?

I think he told me he was 2 months at the time but I don't think he looks like a 4 month old veiled, does he?

Q: I bought my chameleon from Mike on 8-11-13 at the Pomona Reptile Show. I got the one of the $60 ones. Just want to know his date of birth or an approximation at the least.

cant help with contact info but this is my female at about 4-5 months when i bought her..your boy looks a bit bigger than she does. not saying this is an exact science but referencing your boy at aprox. 4 months and my girl at aprox. the same age, he very well may be that age. veiled's are a pretty nice sized cham and your has a tall casque and some nice color coming in

Its possible for him to be 4 months old. Some grow slower than others. If they are fed really well and are aggressive eaters, they can get very, very big very fast.

Yeah, he does eat like a beast, 15 to 20 crickets a day. I guess I need to start dialing it down. I hear feeding too much is not good either.

At that size you really can't tell how old he is. Some veileds are adult size, capable of reproduction if pushed by 4 months of age (not good for them). Others might take several months to reach the size yours is. Depends a lot on care.

I see. I don't plan on breeding him, especially not at this time. I would have to invest in a female and grow her to an adult and that is just too much to handle at this time for me.
