Attaching screen to frame

So I have received a few requests of pictures of how I secured the screen to the wooden frame so the staples are not exposed. In my case, I was using 1x3 red oak for the frame. I cut a small groove down the length of each board and attached the screen (and the acrylic panels for the door and back wall) to each piece using a staple gun. I did not staple the acrylic. I would use some double sided tape or strip insulation to stop the panels from rattling when opening the door.

I then used a thin strip of oak to rest on top of the first board to cover the staples and give a clean look.

I used brad nails to secure the pieces together after using a little wood glue. Hope this is clear enough! ;)

Thanks Deca...I was wondering how you did that and found this with the stuff that you sent :p I pretty much have all the ideas down...now I need to make a materials list and get going! lol
