So, I thought I should go ahead and update on all the chameleons I got back in this thread: https://www.chameleonforums.com/new-arrivals-10742/index2.html#post85414, in addition to the new Meller's. These were all captive hatched by FLChams and except for the carpet were around a month old when received.
First we'll start with the most recent, Meller's. These guys seem to be growing noticeably larger every day. As I mentioned in another thread, I've been keeping them outside 24/7 in coastal southern California. It probably hasnt reached over 80F here yet. All three of them shed yesterday and each has a tiny amount of skin still clinging on somewhere.
Next are the Flapnecks, Chamaeleo d. dilepis. These guys are not very friendly but they sure are cute! They hold their tails back over their heads when they walk like monkeys or scorpions or something, but those pics ended up too blurry to post![Frown :( :(](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
And lastly is the giant carpet, Furcifer major male. He's got some beautiful blues that come in on his side but he changes color so fast when the camera is around that I haven't been able to capture it since this pic, fresh out of the shipping box:
Here he is today:
Hope you liked![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
