It is but it seems like every so often we get a member on here that fires all of us up for a while because they don't listen and they are attention seeking for whatever reason and then they eventually go away.
This reminds me of the girl in nemo who shakes the fish to death. Somethings needs to be done as this person is giving people 'advice' :(

Jesus! Please remove and ban this user. I've gone from frustrated to plain pissed off. This guy/girl whatever is a total POS.

I see you are just as confused about him as he is with his chameleon...?

Before this becomes even more a which hunt, I'd highly advise you and anyone else just ignore this user if he 'pisses you off' (there is an ignore feature) .
Some people should not be allowed to own pets and that Instagram account is a perfect example of the why.

Hmmm... I should have a seal of approval for keeping reptiles!

It will be like a quality standard for chameleon keepers that you will only get if you are a good keeper and pay a fee...
Bad keepers can just give me a lot of money! since that's how most of those seals work anyways.
I will become rich and I can buy a bio-dome (that movie was actually pretty funny) in the desert and live like a caveman between all lizards that I will have!
Money well spend for yall and yall can come visit, dream come true for me! Win-Win situation, (y)

This done is gonna be a desert big (desert is mostly useless space anyways) so we can all live there!

Honestly, I thought this community was perfect for me(Breeder over here) And this is the reason i regret it.This was the first thing i saw when i signed up. You people are the most toxic and disgusting people i've ever met and it's clear you're not even listening to Phantomchameleon. You claim to be a friendly community but this is just terrible.
As a breeder i've made many mistakes including inbreeding. I can tell you from experience that repetitive inbreeding can cause kidney failure and liver failure and that's mainly what caused the death of half my 5th ever clutch of eggs. You all seem very close minded when it comes to the dangers of inbreeding and you're obviously not taking Phantom seriously just because he made a couple mistakes.
And are you serious? You hunted down his personal social media? What the hell is wrong with you people?
I viewed the video you're talking about and he didn't 'drop' him. The cup tipped over, and it was clearly an accident. Tiny details make the video alot less worse but it's definitely not excusable. From the video i estimate he only 'fell' really a couple inches and the curvature of his body made it so that the blow was spread out across his body making a small fall basically nothing. Yes the cham is stressed out. I agree with you on that but that is pretty much it.

We do get toxic at times and I'm sorry this was the 1st thread you saw. There's much more to this story than just this 1 thread however. For the most part, we welcome new people, the toxicity occurs when advice is solicited, not followed, and additional threads are created asking why isn't my cham getting better etc. All of us as keepers will freely admit to making mistakes but we learn and grow from them where some people don't. We're passionate about chams and get angry when we give people the answers they need and nothing changes.

I've took the job of reading the other threads and from point A to point B, there has been obvious improvement in husbandry but it's not perfect. None of you are looking at the changes, you're all looking at the negatives and what still needs to be done.
Don't apologize to me, apologize to Phantom.

Fantastic then you can help shim kill it's chameleon

And this is why after this thread I'm not going to ever come back here. You people are sick
Well then thats your on opinion. If you actually saw the instagram pictures you would see that phantom is abusing the chameleon, and it will just lead to its death.
