Beardies

Her nighttime face. Always adorable.

The Missus put Ol' Stinkeye to bed last night after he'd fallen asleep on her shoulder (a few weeks ago, I couldn't even get her to touch him). He was so out of it, she had to rearrange his feet that had curled back & under him. I've had to do the same. She got him straightened out so he wouldn't wake up with stiff parts...

Lil dood is not so little no more.
He went from hissing at me and going crazy when I tried to hold him, to please put a grape on my head

Except for the grape, that sounds familiar. I got gaped at, hissed at, and bitten (or tried to) regularly.
Now he comes down to the corner where the glass door opens, and waits to be brought out. We're working on him climbing out onto a hand, but the only time he does that is when being put to bed at night. Then he climbs up my arm like, "No, no... I want to stay where it's warm!"

Finally got him to eat a couple really small blueberries. Grocery had prickly pear fruits this week, so we got one just for him (He'll probably turn up his nose like he does for most things...)

I wrap a cockroach in greens like a burrito...
I also Alternate, like a bug, then a fruit or green, a bug, then dragon food... I just keep doing that till he stops accepting them.
He was rehomed when he was a baby, what I thought would be good people. A week later he was posted on craiglist, and looked super thin. I got it back from them. (I actually gave them less than what they paid for rehomig fee). After that he was super aggressive towards anyone. I got the Flukers Dragon Crafted Cuisine, and after i got him to eat that, it did wonders.

I just offer insects and veggies to Opal. She eat the greens on her own now, just like she does the insects. I like to spray my greens with the misting bottle I have, and I think she is attracted to the water droplets. Lol.

Im glad you got lil dood back, @Thatwizard420
He looks happy with you!

Plants don't last though. He is Godzilla!!!
BWAHAHAHA! Now THAT I did investigate! I have live plants in Ol' Stinkeye's enclosure, but they're in decorative (fake lava rock) planters, and the soil is covered with river pebbles of appropriate size that he can't swallow. It keeps him from digging them out, but he still rips the ? out of them, and devours others.

Fortunately, I knew that going in, and expected & planned for it. Anything that gets planted in there has at least 2 backup replacements. We are getting thin due to the virus, but we'll get out soon for some replacement stock.
