Big cage PLAY

Can i let me little eva play in her big girl cage to get use to it? like maybe for a couple of hours then move her back to her little cage or should i wait until i actually move her?
And if i do let her play do you think she will want to play with both cages as she gets bigger

I think that it would be fine to let her play in her big girl cage. I don't know if she would get used to it but it would be some good exercise. How old is she and how big is the cage?

Regards,
Nate

5 Months old on the 30th of JAN, her big girl cage is 2x2x4 and her lil girl cage is 18x12x24

It would be fine for her to spend a few hours in her big cage. While she is in there you may want to check on her to make sure she isn't doing anything weird.

Just to chime in, I had my male veiled in his enclosure much sooner than that. He is 6 months old now, and he's been in there for a few months already. The plan was to put a false floor in there so he wouldn't have issues feeding or getting around, but since he cup fed and was showing no signs of issues I just let him stay there as is. He loved it from the first day, and the only problem I had was finding him in that jungle :D.

I put my females in 2x2x4 cages at 3.5 and 4.5 months old. It is more challenging to make sure they are and can find the food and this may not be the best option for everyone but it worked out well for me and my two girls. I will say again the biggest challenge was to make sure they got enough to eat.

I mean i know feeding is the biggest issue when they move into their big cage so i was just wondering. I think i am just going to let her play in there and explore until i move her offically.

Thanks everyone for chiming in
