Bigger is better in my opinion. With my experience I've learned the more space, the happier the chameleon! Movment up and down is nice, but with also being able to move left to right seemed to improve behavior/personality.I have a male veiled chameleon. 6 months old and he is in the Large Reptibreeze now (18X18X36) and it is getting a little tight for him in there with all the plants and such. Hard to decide if the 24X24 or the 36X18 would be better

Yep, thats what I'd prefer, but to each is own. I'm not saying you'd be going wrong with the 24"x48". I'm just saying I did notice the little bit of sacrifice did make a difference. It was an experiment of mine because my first guy looked a little cramped and bored with just being able to climb up and down once he became a certain length in which I didn't get a cahnce to measure. He was between 7-9 months old when I upgraded him though.Hmm so you'd be suggesting the 36X18 then? Sacrifice a little height for more width?
I like the width too. The largest available to buy is the large atrium if you have the $ to spend. It's 4'x2'x4'
Dragon strand
Won't regret it!
