Friend of mine wants to know if this is a boy or girl. I don’t feel confident to answer without a doubt

When is the correct age abouts where the nose crest protrusion can also be a good indicator? I'm probably assuming the chameleon would be showing adult coloring by then though?

Sometimes males will get color as early as 2 months. Like Chams4life stated, sometimes there is late bloomers. One of my hatchlings last year was a late bloomer himself but by that age, USUALLY, there is some trace of color.

My baby panther didn’t start showing color until after 4 months old and still has light color, he’s 5-6 months now. I want to say I am like 80% sure it’s a boy, but I still have slight doubts. I was told on one of my posts that sometimes boys are late bloomers and some aren’t well endowed. Sexing baby panther seems to be a hard thing to do when there is no significant coloration or bulge. My has boy colors, yet no bulge. Time will tell.
