Hello all
My chameleon has his eyes closed for a few hours starting from 7Pm, im not sure why but he is hydrated and well fed. His light is on tho
My 9 month old Panther moves to his place where he sleeps around 5 to 6 pm every night and it's still light out . So I than turn his lights out. No lights should be on during the night at all. They sleep in the dark.

You should be using calcium without d3 at every feeding. Twice a month instead of that use calcium with d3 and twice a month use a multi vitamin. Is there a particular reason you keep him outside? I'm worried he may not be getting enough uvb lighting.

I put him outside because i always turn on the air con in my room

I am extremely worried, he seems week and barely seem him walk around, he looks really unstable. Can anyone list all the possible sickness/disease/problems he might have?

Is there a reptile vet you can take him to if needed? If he hasn't been getting enough uvb he could develop mbd. Or he could be developing something due to a lack of supplements. That's just my guess, and I could be wrong. Hopefully someone has a better answer. Post pictures as soon as possible so we can get a better idea.

You lost two veileds already. You post multiple threads about the same chameleons having problems and then you almost never reply when someone tries to help you and now you have a third sick chameleon. There is lots of good care information on this forum and yet you still have multiple things you are not following recommendations for. I really think you need to stop buying chameleons until you are willing to learn and keep them properly so they don't die.

Post some recent photos please.

Chameleon Info:
  • Your Chameleon - Panther Chameleon, A little over a year old. A male.
  • Handling - Once Every 2 days
  • Feeding - I feed him crickets and meal worms. Are the chameleons fed and gutloaded properly? What do you feed and gutload them with? I would use something besides mealworms in addition to the crickets.
  • Supplements - I do not use supplements a lot You should be dusting the insects lightly just before feeding them to the chameleon with a phosphorous-free calcium powder at almost every feeding. You should be dusting them twice a month with a phosphorous-free calcium/D3 powder and twice a month with a vitamin powder. And you should be feeding and gutloading the insects properly.
  • Watering - I have a fountain for him and i also spray his cage everyday fountains have to be cleaned out almost every day. You should be misting the chameleon and using a dripper.
  • Fecal Description - He has not been tested for parasites ever. His poop is a little yellow. His recent one looks like there are seeds in them. His feces (poop) should be brown and his urates should be white. Seeds? Maybe parasites? Maybe insect eggs? We can't tell without seeing it.
  • History - He is always very hyper and loves climbing onto me everytime im near. but now he is just not moving and he looks like hes going to fall. Post some photos. Sounds like he's dying.
Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - Screen cage. About 40cm tall and 20cm width and length This is too small for a one year old panther chameleon.
  • Lighting - I currently put him on my balcony which is about 25c most of the time. In the sun?? No shade??? No plants to give shade??
  • Temperature - Not sure since i put him on the balcony

I will bring him to a vet later. Is there anything i can do before, do make him feel better

More questions and comments...the basking temperature should be in the mid 80's F (about 26 to 29 C) when the temperature is lower the digestion is slower...so the chameleon needs/eats less food. What is the temperature in the cage at night? Is the cage near an air-conditioned vent or fan? Did your female panther die?

You didn't answer my questions. You didn't post pictures. How can I know what to tell you??????
