Deworming

Hey guys. I'm going to try to examine some of Pop-Tarts droppings this weekend to see if he needs treated. I tried to do a little research on dewormers but so far the only definite thing I found was nothing ivermectin based.

I'm an avid equestrian; and actually spent years selling dewormers for them. My question is which wormer is best for chameleons? Pyrantel, fenbandazole, or oxibendazole? There's a fenbandazole called Safe Guard for multi species. Any one tried it?

If he needs wormed I'm going to take him to the vets for his 1st dose so I can learn to properly do it. I'm just prepping for any future needs.

You need to know the kind of parasite your chameleon has in order to know what to use to get rid of it.

Are you going to do a fecal float with a microscope?
