Diy Humidifier/Fogger Help

Hello all

So being struggling to keep the humidity in my exo terra Viv so decided to make a diy humidifier but the issue is it's not working followed the steps everyone has posted online and just can't get it to do anything any tips or tricks anyone can suggest to make it work ?

I'd just buy one, they arent that expensive compared to DIY-ing it.

Cheapest one I have found was £75 all in. the diy route has cost about £10 and I want to try see if it fix's the issue first

Yeah nothing's happening at all apart from air bubbling in a bottle

I get what that invention is trying to do lol but I'd say would need to be bigger to to see any results but from your pics your cage looks more glass than screen I'd just add real plants that should jump the humidity way up

It has 2 real plants already sprayed morning and night plus half the screen top is covered in tape and there is soil in the bottom and I still get the humidity dropping down too 34% after a couple of hours

If there isn't even air coming out then there is air leaking elsewhere. Are the airline silicone into the cap? Only takes a small gap for the air to flow out.

i did not see a bubler in you'r jank water bottle . but I did see your air pump . and what looks like a floating filter in the bottle , you need the bubbler to be at the bottom making Air pressure

It is an air stone it's just not sitting in the bottle right

Right there is defiantly air coming out of the hose so it's the production of the fog that's the issue then
