Dull colours?

Oh cool, I'll look out for it. I'd like to use sandra's mix but I'm pretty sure all that stuff would cost me about £30 from Holland and Barratt lol. It's something I'll definitely try when my next student loan payment comes in- I would ask my bf but he's already spent an unimaginable about on my little cham!

I would say nearer £60. Holland and barrett were useless so don't bother. I got some on line and the rest from an independent health food shop. You have to buy such large quantities to get a small amount. I have to say it will last for years.lol for the main part I used porridge oats as suggested by blackened and angel. To be sensible I should have bought one item a week but I got quite excited when I saw it all in one shop. What have you done with your silkworms? Popeye not very impressed but has taken a few. Leopard geckos love them.lol

That is a lot of money! I get excited too & spend loads of money when I see stuff like that. There's a v good independent health food shop not far from me- I'll try there when I have the money. I guess it will last a while as long as it's in an airtight container.
Neelix wouldn't touch silkworms but they were really tiny. I wasn't happy with the supplier, so I might try getting bigger ones from a different place. I was worried about the silk too, I guess it doesn't harm them if u can't get it all off?

I've never heard of lizard lunch? Do u have a web address for silkfarm? I'll give em a go. I'm on my mobile, otherwise I'd google this stuff for myself lol

Great, thank u it's good to have some nutritional advice. for some reason, I really enjoy trying different foods with him (& my other exotics)- I probably get more from it than they do.
I just hope he stays nice & bright after his shed- if not, I may reconsider the position of his cage. The screened cage we have is so weak, I don't dare leave him in it- the wind blows it over, my cat would knock it over...

Lol pacific standard time? I don't kno what pst means. I took Monty out today and put him on my bed. He usually crawls onto my hand but today he decided to gape and puff up at me. When I saw this I was like "this is what my cham has been doing!"

I don't use distilled water, just tap. I know it's mildly chlorinated and fluoridated, but I don't know if that would cause a problem?
Neelix only brightens up when I take him out the cage. I've put him in a bigger screened cage, but he's still dull when inside it.
He's due to shed again, so I bet that's half the problem

I haven't tried him on veggies yet. I thinking I might offer his some curly kale first and then maybe mango. I've just bought a dusting powder with spirulina in it, so I'll wait for the results
His basking temp is currently 89F, I might try raising it into the low 90s
